The character “WE” appears only once throughout the 80 Katakamuna Utai (chants). It forms a meaningful word when combined with the previously explained “YU,” creating “YUWE.”
Its core intention is similar to the modern Japanese word “Yue,” meaning reason or cause, or a proper origin/lineage. When used as “YUWE,” it is thought to imply the basis for a certain phenomenon or state occurring, or the necessary connection behind it.
