KA: The Ultimate Root and Connector of Existence

The character for “KA” is formed by a vertical line representing the latent, a horizontal line for phenomena, and small circles positioned at the same points as in “HI” (1) and “A.” Notably, the absence of the large circle “WA” indicates that this character doesn’t belong to the phenomenal realm.

“KA” holds the most significant core intention among all forty-eight Katakamuna sounds. Katakamuna’s true essence lies in the understanding that the ultimate root of all things in the universe, all of nature, and everything from matter to living beings, originates from this “KA” in the latent world. Modern science hasn’t yet discovered or empirically proven its existence, nor has it theoretically postulated it.

While we previously explained that “A” is the root of all existence, “KA” is even deeper than that. This “KA” possesses the most crucial fundamental core intention of connecting the latent world and the phenomenal world.

The Japanese phrase “Ka no Mi” (essence of Ka) and “Ka no Mi” (body of Ka) are the conceptual origin of the word “Kami” (deity/god). This suggests that the Japanese belief in “Yaoyorozu no Kami” (the countless deities present in all of nature and phenomena)—the conviction that deities reside in all things—is rooted in an intuition of this “KA.”

The original flow is that “KA” becomes the root, transitioning into “A,” then becoming “HI,” and further developing through **HIFUMIYOI. This process, accompanied by spacetime, leads to the formation of all phenomenal objects and the expansion of this world.
