1. From Fundamental Quest to Katakamuna

From my childhood, I have been driven by fundamental, relentless questions concerning the “truth of the world” and the “structure of the universe.” This intense drive persisted even after I worked in a creative field as a fashion designer. Through self-directed study in Eastern philosophy, science, and metaphysics, I had a fateful encounter with Katakamuna. I immediately sensed that this system, though its full scope was immeasurable, held an extremely high level of intellect and the ultimate truth of the cosmos.

2. Encounter with Esoteric Buddhism

My journey led me to an encounter with the profound secrets of Esoteric Buddhism—teachings said to have been continuously transmitted since the enlightenment of the Buddha 2,500 years ago. These rituals are governed by strict regulations concerning time, direction, and the placement of the altar. Adhering precisely to the prescribed forms, my teacher conducted a solemn ceremony, which led me to an unexplainable, non-physical experience that I cannot fully describe here. I understand that most readers might dismiss this as occultism. However, following the ritual, my teacher made a statement that immediately struck me as a truth equivalent to a scientific law:

This insight revealed that when specific conditions are met, phenomena currently unexplainable by modern science can be brought about. There exist realities that scientists, who focus purely on the material world, cannot afford to dismiss as merely ‘spiritual.’ Similar esoteric principles exist in religions beyond Buddhism, and it is through these profound practices that followers deepen their faith. Subsequently, I undertook training and became a lay priest capable of organizing these rituals.

Yet, a complete scientific explanation of what occurs during this ritual is likely impossible, primarily because these ancient secrets are intended to remain outside the public domain. This world contains countless mysteries beyond scientific understanding, and I believe Katakamuna is one of them.

3. Application of Radiation Chemistry

I am currently involved in developing environmental technology that utilizes radiation (alpha particles) emitted from rare metals. The principal researcher, a Ph.D., previously worked at the Linus Pauling Institute in the United States, and I joined the project team upon meeting him. Alpha particles are, in essence, helium nuclei without electrons, possessing extremely high energy. This energy can be leveraged for the decomposition and re-synthesis of molecules. Theoretically, this technology makes it possible, for instance, to break down carbon dioxide molecules into oxygen and carbon, decompose $H_2O$ molecules into hydrogen and oxygen, or break down nitrogen in liquid substances.

My learning and experiences from this research have profoundly influenced my deciphering of Katakamuna. The behavior of molecules, atoms, and elementary particles—the building blocks of matter—perfectly demonstrated the connections between Ama and Kamu as described by Katakamuna. Although this technology is currently in the research phase and not yet commercialized, it provides a crucial scientific lens through which I view the ancient wisdom.

4. My Unique Approach: Intuition and Similarity

The deciphering of Katakamuna initially seemed formidable. However, the words of Satsuki Narasaki, the texts’ decoder, became the foundation for my research: “Katakamuna is intuitive physics” and “It is the science of similarity-aspects.” Guided by the principle to “Intuit and find the similarity,” I developed a unique approach: I transposed Katakamuna‘s insights onto modern phenomena and concepts, and conversely, interpreted contemporary knowledge through the Katakamuna perspective. Through these years of dedication, my own intuition has deepened, and the outlines of previously unclear matters have slowly become visible through my perspective.
