Geometric Elrements

Geometric Element

Katakamuna characters are composed of just 21 geometric elements: vertical lines, horizontal lines, a large circle, and eight small circles. Each of these 21 elements contains a profound meaning, and its shape symbolizes that very meaning.

To understand Katakamuna, there are two different approaches: a logical analysis of the elements’ shapes and meanings, which we call “understanding with the mind,” and “intuition,” a direct perception that goes beyond words.

This page serves as a foundational resource to deepen your “understanding with the mind” by logically explaining each of the 21 elements. This accumulation of knowledge will eventually bring about new insights, allowing you to intuitively perceive the meaning of an element at a glance.

The concepts of Ama and Kam, which are the background of Geometric Element

These elements symbolically contain two important concepts: Kam (the latent world), which is the source of all creation, and Ama (the phenomenal world), which is its manifestation.

Ama refers to the material world that we can perceive with our five senses, which we call the “phenomenal world.” It is a word that symbolizes everything that exists in the universe, including the mere 5% of matter that modern physics has unraveled, as well as the yet-unexplained dark energy and dark matter.

In contrast, Kam is a word that refers to the fundamental dimension that exists before Ama takes shape. It is the very “latent world” that serves as the source of matter and energy, governing all cosmic activities that are yet to be fully grasped by science.

Katakamuna explains the profound truth that these two dimensions of Ama and Kam continuously interact with each other to create and sustain the universe.By understanding these 21 elements, the true meaning hidden within the 48 “words” that will be explained in the next section, “Sonic Element,” will become clear.
